Biomass Pellets: Dense Energy from Nature's Surplus

Clean. Dense. Powerful. The future of industrial fuel, manufactured in the heart of Northeast India.

What Are Biomass Pellets?

Biomass pellets are small, densely compressed cylinders (6–8mm diameter, 10–30mm length) produced from ground raw biomass that is dried to less than 10% moisture and compressed under high pressure through a pellet mill die. No chemical binders are used, natural lignin in the biomass acts as the binding agent.

The result is a uniform, high-density fuel with a calorific value of 3,800–4,500 kcal/kg that burns cleanly and efficiently, making it a direct replacement for coal in industrial boilers, brick kilns, and power plants.

Our pellets are manufactured in Guwahati using locally sourced bamboo, Napier grass, paddy straw, sugarcane bagasse, and maize cobs, turning agricultural waste into a premium energy product.

The Agricultural Waste Crisis: A National Emergency

Every year, millions of tonnes of paddy straw and crop residues are set on fire across India, a catastrophic annual crisis with severe consequences for air quality, climate, soil health, and public health.

Air Quality Crisis

Stubble burning causes 20–30% of Delhi's winter PM2.5 pollution. Toxic smoke blankets entire regions.

Climate Impact

Releases CO2, methane, nitrous oxide, powerful greenhouse gases accelerating global warming.

Soil Degradation

Destroys topsoil microbial ecosystem and organic carbon, reducing future crop yields.

Wasted Economic Value

500 MT+ of potential fuel energy burned as waste annually, billions in lost value.

Public Health Burden

Thousands of premature deaths. Surge in chronic respiratory illness across North India.

Biomass pellets offer a direct, viable, and profitable solution, converting what is burnt as a problem into a fuel that powers industries.

Why Biomass Pellets, Need of the Hour

Industrial Fuel Transition

Perfect alternative to coal for boilers, brick kilns, paper mills, and tea estates.

Carbon Neutrality

CO2 released = CO2 absorbed during plant growth. Lifecycle carbon neutral.

Regulatory Compliance

Smooth transition away from coal under tightening pollution control norms.

Energy Security

Reduces India's dependence on imported fossil fuels and volatile coal markets.

Rural Income

Every tonne manufactured = direct income for farmers and rural collectors.
